Our Story
Our story began in 1990 when some of our current physicians met after medical school and trained together in residency.
We subsequently practiced together as employed physicians of a hospital system. In 2002 we decided to start our own self-employed private family primary care provider practice, and that is when Leawood Family Care was born.
Much has changed since then as we have grown our practice to the ten-provider Family Medicine group is now, a mix of providers, some young and some more senior, male and female. We have moved to larger offices twice since our inception in private practice. In December of 2020, we moved into our brand new, 15,000 sq ft office that is spacious, beautiful, and second to none.
Our growth and success in becoming Kansas City’s premier family medical practice are the results of our belief in excellent, patient-focused medical care.
